Are you an experienced in-house lawyer? Are you happy talking to the board but equally comfortable with day-to-day work? Do you want flexibility coupled with quality work and interesting clients?

We’re on a mission to provide businesses with access to the right legal support and for our team to thrive in a collaborative working environment, whilst having autonomy. We deliver high quality, ongoing fractional in-house legal support to fast-growth businesses. And we ensure we do the right thing for our clients, colleagues and partners.

We’re looking for strong, commercial lawyers with experience managing legal in-house for fast-growth businesses, particularly in tech and media companies. You need to be commercially astute, strategically minded and, above all practical. You’ll have spent most of your career in-house and ideally have set up a legal function for a fast growth company. You are comfortable setting the legal strategy and budget and advising the business at a senior level, as well as rolling up your sleeves to work through all sorts of contracts and other legal matters and to help build better processes.

As part of our team of experienced, in-house lawyers, you’ll help our clients:

  • Manage their legal strategy, process and budget
  • Handle the day-to-day legal work
  • Address business critical issues
  • Navigate business milestones

We work very differently from a traditional law firm. We work as an extension to our clients’ operations teams. Our Story

LegalEdge was founded in 2009 by experienced in-house lawyers Donna Sewell and Helen Goldberg.

At the time, growing businesses could only outsource their legal to expensive and sometimes out-of-touch law firm specialists. Donna and Helen saw there was a better alternative.

They decided to make the in-house legal function accessible to smaller businesses. This means offering legal solutions that are completely tailored to their clients’ size, maturity and business goals.

Today our growing team of talented consultants continue to do just that: helping businesses we work with to scale faster and more effectively.
