Jo Osborne
Jo is great at delivering simple, practical and cost-effective solutions for legal, regulatory and operational problems. She helps growing businesses build scalable legal and compliance functions from product inception through to exit whilst managing tight legal budgets. Her in-house experience includes working across EMEA, APAC and the Americas standardising contracts and processes, implementing tech/SaaS (including AI) and IP restructures, and leading companies through sensitive legal, compliance and HR issues. She is also an expert in European data protection laws and regulations and takes a pragmatic and business-oriented approach, guiding companies through the intricate legal landscape of governing collection, storage, processing, sharing and disclosure of personal data.
Jo believes that innovation in science, technology and data can change the world, so much so that she founded her own SaaS company to tackle the legal and regulatory issues around the lack of transparency in personal care product retail. She’s highly practical, constantly curious and ethically driven – focussed on providing legal services to her clients in a way that adds commercial value and directly impacts the achievement of business goals.

Outside of work, Jo loves all things health and health tech related, especially personalised and preventative healthcare innovation and precision diagnostics. When not geeking out on health, Jo enjoys cycling, kite surfing and ethical travel.

Jo was a Corporate Counsel at Google before starting her own SaaS business. Prior to that, she was the founding General Counsel for BeatThatQuote.com and led legal projects for various multinationals including Electronic Arts and James Hardie Industries. Jo trained as a litigator in Melbourne, Australia, before moving to the UK, with the majority of her experience having been gained in Europe.What Jo's clients say:
