LinkedIn:

Philip is a dual-qualified commercial lawyer (Ireland / England and Wales) who is experienced at designing, building and managing in-house legal functions. He’s brilliant at rolling his sleeves up to get deals and contracts done quickly and efficiently as well as being able to take a ‘helicopter view’ of business problems to advise on strategy and legal budget management. He has a lot of experience in tech working with SaaS, software and hardware companies and in AI and fintech.  He’s also worked with a wide array of companies importing / distributing products across the UK and EU and has extensive experience in the automotive sector.

Philip’s in-house experience, ranging from a small well-funded start-up to two of the world’s largest companies, means he can advise from both a legal and commercial perspective to help analyse risk and prioritise what’s important. He’s passionate about working closely with management teams to help reimagine how legal is perceived and to show that legal can support growth and shouldn’t be considered a ‘blockage’. He strongly believes legal should assist product development and is on a mission to work with fast growth businesses to show how efficient legal can make a real difference from ensuring contracts work for the products / services so it’s easier to do business to working with sales teams to drive business revenue.
