Rustam is passionate about delivering commercially relevant and actionable legal advice. He has worked with tech, media and entertainment companies across EMEA and the US, helping them set up an efficient legal function and close deals quicker.
He is an expert software lawyer and has helped many B2B SaaS providers with sensible contracts, negotiation advice, business models and comprehensive data protection support. Rustam’s expertise in the software industry extends to managing and negotiating enterprise software licences, including on-prem, private cloud and public cloud software licensing deals.
Away from tech, Rustam is very experienced with all types of general commercial work, including supply chain agreements and working closely with procurement departments to close out contracts efficiently. He’s also focussed on helping companies understand their data protection compliance requirements and provides low-impact compliance strategies. Rustam is experienced in working with diverse cultures, including in Germany, Holland, Dubai, India and the US.
Rustam is a CEDR-accredited mediator and heads up LegalEdge’s guided mediation service, which helps businesses settle disputes efficiently and quickly.
