Ed Goold
Ed is a technology-focused in-house lawyer with hands on experience working with start-ups and scale-ups, particularly in SaaS and AI. He takes care of the full range of legal issues that growing companies encounter, from getting deals done quickly and efficiently, to hiring, to IP protection and exploitation, fundraising and more. He is great at putting the fundamentals in place with a limited budget and has particular experience of using and implementing legal AI.
Ed takes a pro-active and commercial approach, assisted by his experience of being a COO in the past. His advice is practical and accessible, focusing on priorities, efficiencies, risk and budget management to add real value. Ed has also attended the Makers Academy intensive coding school so has a detailed understanding of tech development and how apps are built too. He’s also doing the BlueDot AGI strategy course for AGI governance and long-term AI strategy.

Ed is a keen poet and regularly performs his poetry at various open mic nights in the London area. He is also an equally passionate surfer but with unfortunately a little less opportunity to put those skills to use!
