Becs is an experienced in-house lawyer who advises high-growth and technology-led businesses on all their legal needs. She has a strong track record of supporting companies as they scale, providing clear, pragmatic legal advice that is closely aligned with commercial objectives.
Her work spans the full breadth of a senior in-house legal role, including corporate governance, commercial contracting, risk management, product development and data protection. Becs is particularly experienced in working with businesses developing and deploying technology-enabled and AI-driven products, where she helps teams navigate an evolving legal landscape, while maintaining innovation.
Becs is passionate about positioning the legal function as an enabler rather than an expensive blocker and works collaboratively across organisations to achieve this – from C-suite to product, information security and sales teams. Becs focuses on building legal frameworks and processes that scale with the business and support long-term sustainability.
Useful to know:
Becs currently splits her time between London and Portugal and when she isn’t working, will most likely be found surfing or on a farm. While on a career break, she spent a year working on farms focused on regenerative agriculture and currently sits as an advisor for the regenerative disruptor enterprise, New Foundation Farms.
Although it has somewhat taken a backseat to surfing these days, Becs is also a keen triathlete and has competed in the Copenhagen Ironman as well as a number of shorter distance triathlons.

Becs' in-house experience includes senior legal counsel at Vinted and Big Society Capital. She has also acted as fractional general counsel for a range of companies including Aveni and Skin Analytics.
