Sam Tamman
Sam is a commercially astute, solutions-driven senior lawyer specialising in commercial, consumer, product, privacy, marketing and advertising law. She delivers pragmatic, business-enabling advice that helps leadership teams move quickly while managing risk proportionately.
She has extensive B2B and B2C e-commerce experience. She successfully built, led and scaled the legal function across multiple jurisdictions within an e-commerce business, whilst also leading on all the consumer law aspects of their international expansion, from defining consumer strategy and shaping a commercially pragmatic approach to navigating consumer and product compliance across jurisdictions. She brings particular strength in privacy and data protection, helping organisations mature their risk and compliance frameworks.
She is also developing a focus on AI regulation, having recently completed advanced training in AI law, policy and governance at LSE, with emphasis on the EU AI Act and global regulatory approaches – achieving a distinction.
Known for her strong commercial judgment and clear communication, Sam builds trust quickly, simplifies complexity, and creates scalable legal processes that enable teams to move faster with confidence.

Outside of work, Sam loves going to the theatre and is a huge musicals fan. She also enjoys reading and is part of a couple of book clubs, and spends as much time as she can with her family.
Sam also used to be very involved in politics and spent time working in both the US Congress and the UK Parliament.
